About Dilomet Tablet

Metronidazole + Diloxanide + Simethicone is a combination of three medicines: Metronidazole, diloxanide and simethicone. Metronidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA.

Uses of Dilomet Tablet

Metronidazole+Diloxanide+Simethicone is used in the treatment of diarrhea.

Medicinal Benefits of Dilomet Tablet

 Diloxanide is combined with metronidazole in case of severe intestinal infections. Diloxanide is a luminal amoebicide which acts inside the intestines to kill the infection-causing microorganisms (amoeba). Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

Nausea, Dryness in mouth, Flatulence, Headache, Metallic taste
